Our head office is in Ogidan, Ajah. We take jobs across Lagos, including the Lekki Free Trade Zone. The office is open 8:00am–5:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am–12:00pm on Saturday. We reply to enquiries within the hour. After the free site inspection you get a detailed quotation, and we mobilise workers to your site when we receive the first advance payment.
Jobs we have worked on in Lagos
- ACP cladding, Lekki. FortevaWorks worked on 3,000 m² of ACP cladding for a commercial client in Lekki, completed in August 2026. The joints were sprayed with water to confirm none got behind the cladding.
- FRP tank, Banana Island. FortevaWorks worked on a 12,000 L FRP tank at a residential estate on Banana Island, completed in June 2026. The tank was filled to full capacity and left standing for 24 hours, then every panel joint and bolt was checked for leaks and the tank was checked to be level on its base.
Salt air on the coast
Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi and the Lekki Free Trade Zone sit by the sea and the lagoon, and salt in the air attacks exposed steel and fixings. When we blast and paint steel on a coastal site, it gets our three-coat coastal system: a zinc-rich epoxy primer, whose zinc dust protects the steel underneath, then an epoxy intermediate coat and a polyurethane topcoat that seal it from the air. FRP tank panels are joined with stainless steel bolts and flanges, which resist rust; on coastal sites we specify grade 316, the grade made for salt air.
The rainy season
The Lagos rainy season is when a roof is tested for real. Every flat roof we waterproof is flooded and the water held for 24 hours before handover, so a leak shows up before the rain finds it. When we waterproof or blast and paint in the rainy season, the work goes ahead in dry windows, under cover or in enclosures where needed, on a programme agreed in the quotation.
Planning a tank for a Lagos site
How much storage a Lagos estate or factory needs depends on how reliable its borehole, mains and power supply are, and we set the days of storage at the inspection. The planning value is 120 litres per person per day for urban supply, from the Nigerian Water Supply and Sanitation Policy. The tank itself is set out on our FRP water tanks page, and how a tank job runs on our water storage systems page.
Cover after handover
Every job carries 6 months of free maintenance and 6 months of free defect repair, written into the contract. For whole-building work in Lagos, see general contracting.
